I have an 87 4x4 blazer that has a slight hesitation when you start moving from a stop, also it feels like it struggles to get up hills. Any ideas? I just got the truck so I haven't learned a lot about it yet.

Please include your vehicle details in the post. Year, make, model, engine size and fuel type would be helpful.

When was the last tune up? Plugs, wires, etc? Thats where i would prolly start if that hasn't been done yet. Good luck.

Carb or fuel injection....throttle body?
Could be spark timing or a lack of fuel pressure.

I believe that by '87, the 2putt8 was TBI. How does the spray out of the injectors? Have you tried to run some injector cleaner (Chevron Techron Concentrate Plus) through it?
This could possibly be a timing or ignition (plugs, wires, cap, rotor) issue as well...

Im planning on running some seafoam through it, the plugs look good but i may go ahead and replace them. Its TBI I need to go borrow a fuel pressure gauge and see what it is.
