I'd like to point out that buying a used cluster means you could very well end up with the same problem down the road, UNLESS the seller is smart and refreshes those solder joints.
'Refurbing' clusters that way is a pretty sweet income adder and $75 would be well worth it for many.

Any Blazer owner ought to wake up and learn some of these basic electrical skills, like soldering. GM is known for electrical/contact problems.

I know how to solder, I think I am going to take the cluster out this spring and see if I can find the connection that is making the odo half work sometimes on mine, fix it and i'm good to go.

i agree i got mine refurbished

i was lazy to take her apart and redo the whole thing
