Default 93 s10 trouble

ok so i just bought a 93 s10 ext cap 4wd 4.3l TBI truck and ive ran into some troubles. when i first got tha truck a week ago it ideled kinda rough but when u started to drive it without steping on the gas it ran fine. when u floor it it started backfiring and was rele hard to get up to speed. then we replaced tha rotor, cap, spark plugs and plug wires. and now it runs even worse.and we think its missing somewhere. like i have to keep tha throttle pinned just to get up to speed and it still back fires. someone told me that there mite be a small tick in tha lower end and its making the timing advance when it doesnt need to be and they said just to unplug the knock sensor and see if it runs better than.

anyone got any other ideas???

oh and were3 is the location of the knock sensor? tryed looking 4 it and couldnt find it.

any advice would be aprteciated, thanks

Take Off the EGR , And spray the S**T out of it with brake cleaner. Let it dry then Bolt back in. Also take note* Spray bolts with Pb blaster... you dont want one to snap inside Like I did......
