94 S10 Blazer Started by Reversing Firing Order
Originally had a Crank No Start situation with my car after removing Spark plugs to change the Distro cap. Initially tried the factory firing order, but it did not work. I confirmed Fuel Pressure, and spark. But the engine wouldnt fire. I changed The Distro Cap, Rotor, Coil, and ICM. Nothing worked until I put Cylinder 1 in the 3 position on the Distributor Cap and worker with the 1-6-5-4-3-2 firing order from there. I'm referring to the placement of the wire that goes to cylinder 1 on the Distro cap. It didn't start with that wire in the designated spot for Cylinder 1. I had to start the firing order in the spot for Cylinder 4 and then Cylinder 3 through trial and error.
