Default Afraid I will break the key

on my '94 s10 blazer (square body (OBS?)) both electric door locks will fire.. but neither will actually actuate the door lock assembly.. both doors if you manually lock them, the action is very heavy/stiff.. the Driver's door is so bad I'm afraid Im going to break the key off in the door... Is this something can be solved by removing the latch assembly from the door and cleaning/lubricating? or am I going to have to locate new door latches? (if I disconnect the lock rod going to the manual door lock and popper it moves just fine, so I'm sure it's in the latch)

I'd take the door panel off and inspect the mechanisms inside and lubricate as you suggested.

Are your door hinges ok? Do they let the door sag? I'd check to see if that is an issue too.

door panel is off . can't really see anything.
yeah the door pins are shot.. but the lock mechanism is no easier to operate if the door is open.
