my girlfriend has a 90 blazer, 4.3. the alternator went bad in it on her way home. i have a new alternator from my 86 305 camaro. im pretty sure they are the same alternator, but i cant be sure without seeing them together. does anyone know if they are the same?

 

AutoZone shows them to have different part numbers.
