As far as the loose cam adjustment goes, that isn't uncommon considering what the torque specs are. Take in to account the low torque specs and the waxed frames and it makes for an easy adjustment alteration with as little as bumping a curb.

Thanks LT...you saved me a trip.

I've heard people talk about Blazers having tight steering anyway. Have you heard that as well and is it true?

The tightness of a gear box is a preference thing. If you think it is to tight in the steering, or don't like the way it steers now, you could let the alignment shop know and see if they would back off on the gear box a bit. Or it could be the camber is set a bit strong, or stronger than it used to be, but still within specs.

The first generation Blazers and S-10 pickups are not nearly as pciky, with regards to alignment specs, as the 2nd generation are. It's entirely possilbe your "Tight" steering could simply be too much camber, i.e. positive camber, that can give a quick feel to the steering as well. At the same time, the first gen blazers might still drive straight and wear the tires fine. The 2nd gen blazers, from my experience, require the alingments to be nearly centered in the specs to even drive straight much less provide even tire wear.

OK, totally off topic, but I just noticed your list of vehicles in your sig!!!!!! You have all those right now?!

Thanks for the info. So, for swartlkk's benefit, should he be able to do this on his Bravada as well?

Yeah, any GM gear box has adjustment in them. Actually, most Ford gear boxes do to. I hadn't paid close enough attention to Chrysler products, I tend to despise them

In my opinion it is tigher. Not uncomfortable tight, but when i drive my mom's yukon, it feels noticably looser. I don't mind it, you get used to it. I think it makes it track straighter down the road, because it's less sensitive to bumps throwing it off course.
