Just to clarify...by no means was I knocking Dexcool per se. I was just saying since it wasn't in there already, don't mix it with what's there. If you DO prefer Dexcool, just make sure you do a thorough flush of the system before putting it in. ![Wink](https://blazerforum.com/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Regarding the clicking...my first guess would be that the fan is being prevented from turning, causing the fan clutch to make the clicking sound. It may or may not indicate a damaged fan, but since even a slight bend of the fan can be bad (according to my mechanic, who has 40+ years of experience), you may want to replace it anyway.
