Default Blazer noob, searched

I just bought a 94 s10 blazer tahoe LT, Im having problems with the overhead console lights, fuses are good, bulbs are good, is there any gremlins that cause this? I dont want to start blindly ripping things apart, its dark as hell in that thing with no interior lights, BTW the map lights in the rearview stay on if you leave the harness plugged in but they dont seem to be connected top the console

First is the dimmer on the dash turned all the way to the right. If so turn it to the left just till it clicks (mm or 2). See if the overhead lights turn off and if not report back.

Sometimes when people install after market stereos, they booger up the lights by leaving certain wires disconnected, or improperly installed. Check if that's the case. Also, may just be a bad switch?
