Default CPI unit

How does this thing conrol fuel to 6 different cylinders with 1 injector? Does it turn to each nylon line to allow fuel into them seperatly? How does this thing work?

I have posted this before...

The CPI fuel system is a batch fired system meaning that it supplies fuel to all cylinders at once. There is one central electronic fuel injector that feeds 6 individual pressure actuated poppet nozzles. These poppet nozzles will only open when the pressure exceeds a preset limit (somewhere around 52psi). When the electronic injector opens, fuel pressure is fed to the poppet nozzles causing them to open and squirt fuel into the intake runners. When the electronic injector closes, the pressure inside the nylon lines drops until the poppet nozzles close.

Thank you for the quick answer. Wow I cant beleive that it even works. So the fuel just sits in that runner till each intake valve opens? That sounds kind of wacky.

It's not a whole lot different than a carb motor. Even at 600RPM, each intake valve is opening up 5 times per second. There isn't much time for the fuel to just sit there.
