Digital Guages - help please!
As stated, I recently purchased a 1993 blazer Tahoe 4x4 with the digital instrument cluster. and its been working fine until yesterday it just went blank nothing is working except for the abs light and the check engine light (btw they only come on when you turn on the key, not while driving) About an hour later they came back on for the rest of the day then this morning it went completely black again. I understand that there is a lot of problems with the digital display, but before I buy another one or have mine fixed how can I make sure that its actually in the display and not the wiring or grounding or something else? has anyone ever fixed this same problem without replacing it? All help is appreciated!
and Yes I did check all of the fuses!

Don't forget to check all the fuses first, you may get lucky. I had the same thing on a 94 Bravada. It was intermittent, sometimes it would work, other times it wouldn't. Hit a bump in the road and it would change. I fixed mine by pulling it and I tore it down and re-soldered every connection. It's been working flawlessly for years. I'm and electronics technician so this was routine for me, but as long as you are carefull to put everything back as you found it, and with solder iron and solder, you can do it. If I remember there are a couple layers of circuit boards that needs to be re-soldered. I found many bad connections. The worse thing it that it doesn't work and you have to pay the big buck to replace it.
