Default Door un-locks itself

Anyone have a problem with going out to their truck the next day and finding their driver door OR both doors un-locked on it's own? I do!!!

I have that problem and I'm not sure but I think it is in the little "Auto-Door-Lock" switches...You know the little toggle like switch that sits right under the door lock lever. Well, mine are broken off on both doors and (no switch lever and you can just see what I mean in the picture) I wouldn't mind just dis-connecting them from the whole system...Is there any way to just disconnect the broken switch system so that the main lock levers just work mechanically? IS there a way to do THAT? Anyone else have/had a similar problem please let me know! If that can be done, then I'll just make some small ABS plates and glue them over the existing broken switches to conceal them! Anyone know anything about this let me know! It is a '90 with no alarm or key fob or anything like that so I don't have a problem with just going with manual locks on both doors...I just want to make sure my truck stays locked and doesn't continue un-locking itself over night anymore...Let me know.

UPDATE > Another thought...Would this be an idea? Remove the switch and unplug the connector from it. (I saw a picture of one of these switches online and they a connector plugs on to it) If I did that would it then allow it to just work as a mechanical lock without the risk of the thing unlocking itself as it sometimes does?
