Default Hard Starting Issue

I have a 94 Blazer with the CPI vortec in it. I have been having trouble with it starting lately. It fires up, but it always acts like the motor is out of time (runs very rough like the timing is messed up for about 15 seconds and then clears up). Well tonight, it just got a lot worse. I went to start it and it turned about 1/2 a turn and then the motor locked up. I tried turning again and it turned over a 1/2 turn again then locked up again. Then, I did it one last time and it turned over and started, but it ran like crap! It never cleared up or anything, it just ran really muddy and sluggish. I have read through a lot of things and it appears that it might be the fuel injector or the fuel pressure regulator leaking. I am looking for any help or ideas.

Well I got it opened up and the plastic lines (AKA the nut kit) are leaking. Would it be a good idea to install a regulator as well? I think I am going to, but I was just wondering.

Honestly your better off replacing it while you have it open its not too expensive. Im sure your already done, but you can see if its leaking by putting on the key to prime the system.
