well i decided to fix my rear window struts and i found that the defroster tab wire broke

would this product do the job ? any 1 used it before ?

Yup, good stuff, used it many times. It does what it's supposed to do if you follow the directions: adhesive that conducts electricity. They also make a product that you can "paint" on if one of the lines of the defroster breaks, that's good stuff too.

alrighty i bought it but it didnt work on the wire on one side

it did work on the other side tho


the passenger side tab is still on but the wire broke off the tab

I guess i need to solder it

IM open to suggestions tho

the tab is still on the glass

Ahhh, piece of cake. Solder it back together using rosin core solder. DON'T solder on the glass... BOOM, big mess.

so i need to remove the tab? i was looking at something called solder paste

i think it hardens like solder when done

Did the spade terminal break off of the tab that solders to the glass?

the tabs on the glass its self the wire broke off the tab its self
