heat only blows on defrost

Vacuum line disconnected somewhere in the system??? This topic has been covered quite a few times. If the related threads link below doesn't cover it, try using the search feature.

i would say check ur vacum lines to begin w/ on the back of the intake plenum there should be a vac line see if its connected also if u follow that line further it comes to a T split piece make sure all the lines r connected to it.
The damper door vacuum actuator on mine lost two clips that join the actuator to the damper linkage. $10 for the 2 parts at the dealer. About 15 minutes to fix. Kinda tough as you have to do the repair blind with one hand from below.
Check yours to see if the damper closes and opens as you switch from defrost to heat.
