Default knock sensors

93 4.3 vin w. code 43 for knock sensor. referencing a post from "magmotor" in a july 2010 post he stated that the sensors should have 5v reference power with key on. the sensor wire on the drivers side shows 4.87 volts and the sensor wire for the back side passenger head shows 4.82 volts. now the drivers side sensor shows 8.21 ohms resistance where as the passenger side one show 8.39 ohms. both ohm checks done with key off. could this small amount of extra resistance for the passenger side one be causing my code 43? is this system that sensitve? I want to make sure I'm on the right track before I start throwing money around.
