isn't that ur stater motor! the leak might be above it from maybe the back of the valve cover where they are notorious to leak and is hard to see.

Your other threads on the subject of oil leaks...
vaule covers, oil cooler line, rear main seal, no oil

All of these threads are off-shoots of the 'leak' thread.

Talk about SHORT

Sheesh, what you expect it to be like take to the shop they look at it and tell you in less then 10 min?

Man I hope you are not like this with IMPORTS. Most of the IMPORT forums would ban you for acting like this or just IGNORE you.

For one:
RELAX you only live once and being stressed out like that only SHORTENS you life span

For two:
The pictures help to trouble shoot that was a good move on your part

For three:
Not all of us live on the computer and these forums. We do have jobs and life outside of here. Give it some time an you will get answers. If you keep pushing like this no one will ever respond. They will leave you to guessing or take to shop.

For four:
It does look like a leak down from above the starter.
So I would be checking these:
Valve covers (not hard to change out due to 3 top mounted bolts that hold it down)
Remote Oil Filter (check to ensure that the seal on that is good)
Distributor seal (this one is kind of hard to get at, but if you take a rag/towl and dab it behind the engine under the distrib you can see if you have fresh oil there. If so then you need to pull your distrib and replace the rubber O-ring that seals that)

Try these and hopefully you can relax some. Keep posting a pic and it can help in getting a reply that will be more direct to the issue. And remember you only live once, try to enjoy life not stress it.

If you do a search for Valve cover you will find some helpful threads on removing and replacing the gaskets if this turns out to be your issue. Most of us are more then willing to input our exp. from working on these Trucks (or other vehicals in the past). Just need to give it some time over mass posting

Happy Hollidays to you also and to all who are upon this Forum
