Fuel Line Rated PSI: 30-90
Brake Line Rated PSI: Around 2,000 PSI

 

Although fittings and brake lines can develop leaks a more common cause of losing brake fluid would be a leaking brake caliper or wheel cylinder. I would check the calipers/wheel cylinders and/or backing plates for signs of leakage.

Have you checked the coolant level in the radiator? It may be low and drawing the coolant in that you are putting in the overflow reservoir. Otherwise, it may be a leak in the reservoir itself as previously mentioned.

 

If you have a coolant leak and cannot identify the source, have a coolant pressure test done to find it.

also rriddle3 how much does a coolant pressure test cost? or is it something that can be done yourself?

 

You can buy the necessary equipment at an auto supply.
The thing to look out for with a coolant leak is the lower intake manifold gasket leaking as is well known for these engines due to the design of the OEM gasket. If that's it, it needs to be replaced with the Fel-Pro gasket kit. Leaking from the LIM gasket will ruin the bottom end of the engine due to oil contamination by the coolant.
