leaking oil from what?

leaking oil from what?
so im leaking oil from the top of my motor. i have no idea what it is and i was hoping the forum could help.
base info. this is a 1992 olds bravada. 4.3l non vortec.
leak: a cyliinder located behind the throttle body injection and to the right sid of the distributor. the object is covered with oil and is about 3 inches long and about a 1/2 to 3/4" in diamiter and apears to have wire atached. any information regaurding this would be helpfull thank you.

almost looks like an oil pressure sending unit. heres a link to advance auto parts with a part number, but no picture... But most of the time the sending unit is at the oil filter, so idk...
