RE: NEED help with fuel filter
nevermind, i finally got it. i didnt have any pb blaster, so i soaked in in WD40 for like two and a half hours. went back out there and got it first try.
i never could get the bolt end of the filter back into the little housing for it, but the bracket is on it and the lines are connected so it doesnt really matter. thanks lennyblazer for the help on AIM!

RE: NEED help with fuel filter
Glad you got it don and that I could help you out. What bolt thing are you talking about? If it secures the filter to the fuel line that would be an important thing to have connected properly. Post up a picture of the problem if you can.

RE: NEED help with fuel filter
I bought a new fuel filter a couple of weeks ago. I've been putting off the operation because the old one is rusted on. I'm betting it's from the factory.

finally got a picture. the top end of the filter is supposed to fit into the hex shaped housing, but it isnt in my case.
