Need help so bad

RE: Need help so bad
That sounds a lot simpler, so I'll do it that way. I might go to Wal-Mart tonight and pickup the light and a cheap battery. Not buying a decent battery until I solve the problem. Suppose to be warm tomorrow.

Another easy way to check for the battery drain is to make sure everything is off ie: doors closed, key off and out, dome light off etc. After that pull off theneg. side battery terminal and then just touch it back onto the battery, if something is drawing power you will see an arc between the batt. and the cable. Not a sure fire way to diagnose, I'm sure some part of the truck is always drawing a little power, I tried this on mine and got a very very small arc.. almost non-exsistant and very hard to see, turned my dome lights on and the arc increased ever so slightly, if you getastrong arcsomething shorting.

Never knew that either...makes sense though. But I got the test light anyways and it's quite simple. I just need to buy a battery. You don't have to be 18 or anything to buy a battery right? The Walmart here has all kinds of age restrictions on possibly dangerous products lol. I'm 17 so its close enough.
