Remove the filler plate between the body and the bumper. Then you can see the tabs of the plastic strip. They are like an arrow head that need to be pinched or squeezed to pop out of the bumper. You need to be carefull not to break any of the tabs or the trim will not be held tight against the bumper when you re-install the trim. You may not have to remove the trim piece to remove the bumber. The bumper is held in with carrage bolts and if you are lucky you can put a socket on the inside of the bumper and remove the nuts. Keep pressure on the impact strip as the nuts loosen to keep the bolt pressed into the square hole. It might be also simpler to remove the mounting brackets to the frame and remove the bumber and brackets as an assembly.
