rough idle at start up.

Well here is what im worried about,may be normal,i dont know.when cold the oil pressure according to the gauge says 45...then when warm about 25 average running 45mph..at redlights etc gauge drops right above the red mark sometimes,still idles perfectly etc,but i hate seeing it this low. I have no idea how many miles are on the engine since the original was replaced with this used one. im debating on getting rid of the blazer and finding me a 2 door v8 since thats what i really desired.

If you are at all worried about the oil pressure, you should verify the accuracy of the gauge with a mechanical gauge.

As far as Accel being a quality replacement. I have used their stuff before, but never on a modern ignition system. I recommend the AC Delco parts, but the higher quality Napa Echlin parts are pretty good as well.

i wouldnt mind going with ac delco parts i just have a real hard time finding there parts and i live right outside of washington dc and i havent found a napa auto parts around here. there are carquests around all over the place.

i believe its fixed...i decided to seafoam it since i had half a bottle left from a minivan..and it started right up after 2 hours of sitting..we will see later if it works. i love u seafoam...
