Default Snow coming and i dont have 4wd!

hey guys newbie here! i was hoping someone could help me!

i have a 93 S10 Blazer 4WD that about 2 weeks ago the 4wd just stopped working...i click the 4wd button, and the click click noise goes off under the dash as it always does and i hear the clunk in the transfer case. The front driveshaft does engage and spin but the fron differential does not lock.
Ive been researching this and people say its commonly the actuator under the battery tray so i pulled the battery tray up and it appears to be ok but just for kicks i used zip ties on the cable that goes to the diff. and zipped it to hold it out to see if that would work as i was sure it would.
Pulled it outta the garage and stepped on it and it still only spins the rear tires...WTF! im getting frustrated can someone please chime in and help a brotha out!?

These might help:
4x4 No Worky.... Maybe this will help.... by Hanr3
NV233 transfer case / encoding motor switch by error_401

TCCM stands for Transfer Case Control Module...

Are you sure you pulled the cable far enough to engage the diff. Put it in 4x4 and see if the actuator is compressed. If not then i think you will either need a new cable actuator or the vacuum actuator mounted on the fire wall.

yes i pulled it out as far as it would go and clamped it that way and tried it but nothing still...how about that electronic plug on the front differential right where the cable goes into it,what is that? could it have anything to do with it?

It needs to move 1/2" to 3/4" for it to properly engage. You may have to rotate the passenger wheel slightly to align the splines on the collar and axle shaft while you pull on the cable.

That switch is just for the light.
