Hi all!

The tailgate release button on my 93 Typhoon just won't work. I checked the #3 fuse and it's ok. Automatic is also in Park.

I found a wiring diagram stating a "liftgate control relay" supposed to be located on the "left side of the instrument panel". I just can't find such relay. Next to the handbrake release under the cover (I guess that's called "convenience center") are 2 relays (horn & turn signal) but none for the tailgate release.
Can someone please tell me where to look for it?

In my 94 the relay for the rear glass was just hanging by itself, near the fuse block. Does it click when you hit the hatch release button? If so just follow the clicking until you find it.

It should be up there under the dash somewhere.
