What is electric shift?? If the transmission is the 4L60E (electronic version of the 4L60), then you cannot use that transmission.

But if it's from a '92, it should not be a 4L60E. Are you asking about pushbutton 4x4 shift vs. your lever shift?

In other words, did you buy a transmission and transfer case still mated together? If so, just leave your transfer case installed and swap the trannies.

I figured that should be fairly obvious that the transfer case should remain. Just trying to get clarification. No saying that it was definitely a 92 tranny.

If it has a large electrical connection on the driver side of the transmission about 2/3rds of the way back from the front of the pan, then it is a 4L60E.

If it's from a '93, it's a 4L60E.
