hey ya'll,
I bought a 1994 blazer for my daughter to tool around town in, and it has been a great little truck! Until a couple weeks ago, it started dying for no apparent reason, and then wouldn't start at all. Something is totally draining the battery. I replaced the battery, replaced the alternator, and now have discovered that the power door locks (4-door), go nuts when I test the battery with that voltage meter thing. It is obviously a short somewhere, but I do not know where to look. Help me out please?

Go to your fuse box and pull the fuse label "PWR ACC" It's a 30 amp fuse located on the far right the very top one. This is for your 'power door locks', rear defogger, CD player, Electric Shift Transfer Case & Power Seat...all you can live without to find the problem.....see if the battery stays good with that fuse out....if so..start with the power door lock switch...disconnect them at the switch..put the fuse back in and go from there......
