need help! my transmission sounds like its slipping on take-off from first to second. it eventually shifts after i let off gas. i changed 1-2 2-3 shift solenoid but no help. code says mass air flow sensor. would this have anything to do with the way the transmission shifts? any input greatly appreciated!!!

You may disconnect MAF sensor plug, so the EMC will follow an internal map and see if that changes anything. But I don't think it would. That looks like a two separate problems to me.

TCCM == Transfer Case Control Module - controls the transfer case
PCM == Powertrain Control Module - controls the engine and transmission
As far as the MAF sensor is concerned, it certainly can have an impact on transmission operation as it is used in determining engine load which is a value used in determining shift timing and quality.
Most common issue with the MAF is that it gets dirty. A quick clean with some sensor safe cleaner and a gentle q-tip rub for stubborn dirt can usually bring them back in line.
Delayed engagement specific to one gear change could indicate other issues, but start by getting the MAF sorted and see what happens from there.
