Rotted fuel line

Rotted fuel line
I have a 2000 chevy blazer 2 door, I just found a bad fuel leak coming from above the driver side gas tank. It appears its the metal feed line a few inches before it connects to the nylons by the fuel pump. I have an access panel cut in my floor from doing fuel pump recently so i can eaisily access top of tank. My question is, do you think it is possible to run a new pre-bent replacement feed line up to the tank without dropping the tank itself? thank you!

I replaced my feed line on my 98 without lifting or lowering anything. Had to do some very minor bending of the new fuel line but got it in. The old line was not removed, just cut shorter to be out of the way. Once installed I used zip ties to hold it form bouncing around and possibly wearing a hole in it. Not pretty but it worked. I was being lazy. Some people say disconnecting the body mounts on the drivers side and lifting a bit helps also. I didnt have to do that

Ditto, piece of cake job. You can use steel line with compression unions at each end. You can also use fuel injection rated rubber line, but without ****** ends, I'd worry about the hose blowing off. 60+ psi is not serious pressure, but the possibility is there.

If I was stuck and had no choice I would use a gear clamp but we all know how easy it is to strip one of those
Also I think it is impossible to cut the hose with FI clamps no matter how tight you clamp them down
