Default 01 Trailer Lights

I have searched the forum and a I cannot find the answer.

01 blazer, wanting to add trailer lights. Rear bumper, cross member, found a bundle that has a disconnect, (mentioned in a from a previous thread). Disconnected it, all lights still work except the license plate lights and I got a service eng soon light.

I see where it goes to the license plate light, but cannot see anything else.

Is there a connector for the brake and turn signals? If so, please give an approx location.

Thanks
A/M/G

Not sure what you were searching for... Posted in quite a few threads...
Examples from a search for "trailer+wiring":
How do you know if you have the Tow Package?
Trailer light harness

There should be a bundle of wires towards the driver side of the rear cross member that has a bunch of cut wires in it. This is the stock trailer harness. The number of wires depends on whether it is the standard light duty harness or the optional heavy duty harness. Your RPO codes will define which you should have.

I had previously read the above post, I do not have a tow package. I do not see any wires tucked under the bumper that have no terminal ends on them. The rear cross member only had one connector the one I mentioned.

Thanks

You aren't looking for a connector at all. You are looking for a bundle of wires. If you do not have them, then you will have to get a splice kit. Most autoparts stores can get them. They will splice into the brake/turn wiring harness. They should come with the applicable instructions for installation.
