Default 0452 code..hard start

blazer threw an 0452 code..i know what it is but it also has a very hard start..4-10 crank times to get engine running..this is only when it is cold out. when it does get started the engine sounds and feels like a have a jack hammer under the hood..takes about 20 min for it to smooth out..miss fire?...or does the fuel pressure sensor have to do with starving the engine?...or would it be the spider injectors under cold situations?

The P0452 is an EVAP problem not related to the extended cranking problem. This engine does not have a "fuel pressure sensor" however; Checking fuel pressure and leakdown should be the first thing you check. Key ON, engine OFF, fuel pump running, pressure must be 60psi to 66psi and must remain above 55psi for 10 minutes after the pump shuts off. Post your results.
