I have to replace the radiator support on my '95 as it's rusted out on the bottom, and replace the body mounts. The center of the frame mount bracket, at least on one side, is also rusted out, so I was planning on welding a piece of 1/8" steel over it, along with some side gussets welded to the frame.What size should the center hole be? I'll have to get a metal cutting hole saw to cut this out. Thanks.

 

Could you find a non rusted frame horn at a junkyard?

The only issue I have with the 1/8" plate is that if the bracket is already rusted at the center, the plate wont be able to do much.
