Default 1995 Chevy Blazer door chime

I'm about to take a sledge hammer to this damn car to shut the door chime off. Anyone know where it is? I've got the lower part of the dash loose but I don't know what I'm looking for except a black box that's supposed to be on "the convenience center" what ever that is. Details please.

Nevermind, I'm going to pay an expensive professional to do it.

Its probably the plastic switch by the fuse panel. I have the same thing going on right now after i put the dash back together. Mine was bent. Just bent it the other way and chime stopped.

On my ole' 95 I had to put a soft plastic cap over the driver's side door switch to get the door chime to go quiet. Just got a cap from Lowes or Home Depot and never had a problem again.
I think the chime unit is next to the turn signal flasher which I think is behind the glove box...or storage box...whatever it is called these days.....
