Default 1998 jimmy blend door confusing 6 plug to 4 plug

1998 jimmy has me so confused I know there is auto and manual blend door actuator my jimmy has manual heat control ordered the proper 4 pin actuator got the old one out it had the broken gear as usual but it’s a 6 pin plug. the correct one I ordered has 4 pin plug. The 6 pin worked great till gear broke so before I install the 4 pin is it gonna work or do I have to get 6 pin confused as how wrong one worked I don’t wanna do this but once lol

Is the plug that connects to the pins on your Blazer have only 4-pins? Was the 4-pin one original or a replacement?

I guess you could always connect it to the plug without installing it to see if it moves back and forth without physically installing it.
