1999 Blazer No start!

On another note, Advance Auto missed up ordering my AC Delco cap and rotor. Parts will be hear tomorrow.
I'm wondering if I should do a coil too?

The resistance tests for the coil aren't always 100% reliable, neither are the test machines at the auto parts stores. I'd go with the cap & rotor first. If it still won't start, we can look a little closer at the coil.

UPDATE! Just installed new AC Delco cap and rotor and the truck fired right up! Daughter is happy again!
Learned a lot about fuel pressure testing from Capt. Hook! I wished I would have started with the cap and rotor in the first place.
Thanks to a great site that saved me from towing to a garage!

On a no start, you have to start checking stuff somewhere. Gotta have good compression, air, proper fuel pressure, and spark at the right time. Crossfire inside the cap turned out to be the problem in your case. It wasn't sending spark to the right plugs at the right time. Glad you got her going, and thanks for posting back!

I know we had to start somewhere on a no start and I for one thought it had to be a fuel issue. Glad it did turn out to be a cap and rotor!
And by the way, this truck has 265k miles on the clock! One of the best vehicles I ever bought! I'm hoping to keep her running so my daughter can take it to college next year!

That's the truth! I have another Chevy (2001) with 220k miles. Do the required maintenance and treat them well.
