what years did the 4.3 use the CMFI system and did all of those use the EDI distributor, or is that a different set of years?

(currently working on a 95 with a no start problem and thinking possibly distributor)

We dont think here . We diagnose the problem.

Whats making you think its the distributor ? Do you have play in the shaft?
Do you have spark ?

 

no play to speak of... no worse than my other one in my 97' and weak spark. lets put it this way, its the only part i havent changed or replaced in my no start problem.

 

To answer the question and then close the thread, the 1st year for the EDI system was '95 which was also the last year for the CPI fuel system.
