2000 2dr 2WD - New Break Pads stuck
Ok, so, I did the "economic" thing and replaced my rear disk break pads this weekend, after a4 hour ordeal of needing to replace one of the Caliper Housing Bolts as it had seazed inside it's shaft. So, got that accomplished, placed the Duralast Gold break pads from AutoZone on there and went driving. It stops so much better now, but too good, come to find out, the pads are always rubbing now on the disk, they don't let off!
Is there any sort of adjustment on these things? I couldn't find anything and the calipers seemed to seat just fine, but they don't come off and it is killing my fuel mileage, any ideas?

First, the the parking brake ( Not BREAK) linkage, if its contacting, loosen it. If it ain't the park brake, Take a hammer and tap the brake pads back toward the caliper, if its stuck, it should come loose. If that is not the case, the caliper could be sticking, use channelock pliers to compress the piston, if it doesn't move at all, it is stuck or has a bit of residual pressure. If it has pressure on it, replace master cylinder. If it is stuck check theinside of thecaliper.
