Default 2000 Blazer 4X4 4dr

New member hoping for some advice. I the proud owner of my 2nd Chevy Blazer. I now own a 2000 Blazer 4X4 I purchased it new in 2000 and have never had an issue with it until this year. My heater will not heat until my truck is moving. I crank my truck in the morning and until I put it in drive it will not heat. Once I am driving it heats up really quick and gets very hot. Does any one have any idea what might be causing this issue? I would truly appreciate any suggestion as I'm one cold natured female.
