Default 2000 Blazer Heater Blower Motor and PCM question

I found a great video for replacing my squeeking and chirping motor so I will do so before it goes out or gets worse. One easy question, the video shows removing the PCM- all connectors among the various steps to access the motor location.

Is there anything to be concerned about when removing the PCM module or replacing it?
In other words....
Will that create any problems or do I just need to disconnect the battery positive first, if even that?

Thanks for the great help!

Anyone?
Just want to know if a PCM can be disconnected and then put back without any collateral problems in doing so....

I've had the VCM out of my 98 a few times. Just make sure you are careful disconnecting and re-connecting so you don't damage the pins.
