it comes on periodically, and it spits an sputters arouns all the time. I have had the blazer on computers 10+ times and never got a single answer. Any of you experience this?

Now some more info would be nice. By having it "on computers 10+ times" do you mean scanning it with a OBDII scanner? If so, it should be throwing codes if the check engine light is on, or at least have history codes it in showing why it was on. It could be many issues like the distributor, plugs and wires, MAF sensor, clogged catalytic convertor, etc. but again a scan with a scanner should give you some more insight. Once you have the codes it's throwing you can come back and check out the DTC (diagnostic trouble code) board for your answer on how to fix it.
