2000 s10 blazer sluggish
ive got a 2000 blazer it starts and idles fine, but have a problem when i put my foot in it. it bogs down like its starving for fuel or air then takes off. i have put a new cat on it new plugs and a new tps, it runs fine if you put the foot in it easy but not if you go at it fast. any help would be great. thanks.

Is there a check engine light?
Is the air filter clogged?
Is it hard to start?
Get hold of a fuel pressure guage and check the fuel pressure. You may have a weak pump that cant keep up with the engine under load.

The instance with mine may help.. A long while back I threw a o2 heater circuit code, and payed not much mind to it besides knowing which code it was, and then just cleared it till money was available. Well when I cleared it that time there was NO noise from underneath the truck... after a few months the code came back and a rattle started to appear
I cleared it again since it was the same code as before (I payed no mind to it because it didnt hurt performance or mileage)
The rattle was more pronounced as the days went by and after the 4th time of flipping the code the rattle was SO BAD that I couldnt take it anymore.. so after the "bang on it" test I decided to have it done..
IF the cat breaks up enough it might not throw a code because excessive pressure will not over heat the o2 sensor before the cat but IT WILL clog up your muffler and cause excessive pressure just enough to restrict performance.
mine had no go the day I took it to the shop, I could mash the pedal through the floor and it wouldnt get with it like normal, but the night before that it was fine, besides the rattle
