That seems to be the spider of choice these days, good luck.

I believe that GM recommends a new bracket, but many have simply dropped the upgraded MFI spider into the older SCFI bracket without any issues, myself included on my old 2000 Bravada.

Default Update

Thanks for that. I' got the new spider
in a new bracket. Pressures are now within spec, but she still starts and dies. So I will try the security relearn procedure. Then also check the ground g 117 as i did replace the brake booster and it is over on that side.

Default Pass lock attempt.

Well I tried the security relearn. Attempt to start. Then leave the Ignition on for 11 minutes.. somewhere in there, the security light is supposed to stop blinking. It never does it just keeps blinking. Tried it several times.

Default Security update

I decided to do it while sitting in the car this time. It was too hot yesterday. So with me in the car. Try to start. Starts and dies leave key on. Light stays solid for a second goes out then comes back on solid. Waited eleven minutes state solid the entire time. Anybody with any insight?I suppose I can try it three times in a row.

If I try to do it, you know, like with the door open and leave the Ignition on. So I don't have to sit in it. It'll just blink and not turn off.

Default Security relearn update

Security relearn
Yeah I tried it three times. Same result. Turn ignition on.the security light stays on for a quick second and then goes off. I try to start the car. It starts and dies..I leave the ignition on. Security light immediately goes out for a quick second, and then comes on solid It. And never goes out during the ten minutes. I tried it three times in a row, same result.

Default Where to go next

Well, I'm trying to hang in there. Butt still no luck . She still starts and immediately dies. If I disconnect the coil wire and yeah, crank for a bit and she'll run a couple seconds longer before she dies. So i'm pretty sure then the security is shutting the pump off. I've tried to relearn, but as I noted, the light stays solid. Try to start. Light goes off then comes on solid with ignition on. Never blinks.

The only time it blanks. Is it like if I have a door or the hatch open.
