2004 Blazer. Speedometer. Horn and signal lights problems
Got my blazer a few months ago. Speedometer was not working so I ordered a new one whole speedometer casing and it still did not work. Also noticed that my horn does not work eitger. But when I hit my horn the left turn signal turns on. I believe there is a short somewhere, but not sure where to look. Today after I got out of my doctor's office. I noticed that the left signal was working on its own without the signal in gear and with the engine off. this might be the reason my battery is being drained. Happened a few times. My oil and water gages work. But my left turn signal is always lite up on my dashboard. Especially when I turn on my headlights. I feel it has to be a short somewhere. Maybe someone rewired something wrong. but I'm not sure where to look or how to look. Would be nice if I can get my speedometer and my horn to work as it should. Love this blazer. Runs great. Just irritates me not to have a horn and to see that annoying left signal lights always on when I'm driving at night.I am sure I'm not the only one that has this problem. Has to be someone out there that can help. Please and thank you.
