Looking for some help, just installed a 2" zones body lift on a 2005 ZR2 blazer and now my fuel pump and tag lights will not work. I cleaned the frame to bare metal for both the fuel pump ground wire located at the rear of the blazer and the ground extension at the front passenger side for the negative battery cable. I checked the fuel pump relay fuse by swapping it with the horn fuse so I know that's not the issue. any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

If all your fuses are good, my guess is that you're on the right track with checking grounds. Look through the wiring diagrams in the Tech section, and check each ground pack.

 

You might have to create dedicated ground wires instead of relying on the mounting bolts if the body lift "broke" the ground path for some of these items.

 

Do the tag lights share the same ground wire that the fuel pump uses?
