Default 4.3 Vortec Motor & Drivetrain Removal

If anyone has done this please. I need Procedures/Pics on removing the Motor and Drivetrain from my newly acquired 2000 Blazer 4X4 LT. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I have a Service Manual, but trying to get more insight as the Chilton's manual isn't as detailed as I would like.

Again, Thank you

Chilton's is not a service manual. If you want a real manual, browse ebay for the actual Factory Service Manual. They come and go for ~$70 last I looked.

If that is too much for you, a subscription to AllDataDIY.com is also excellent if you have a computer you can keep handy while working.

or just search the forum!

that's what were all here for, isn't it?

seriously, other than some specialty tools, it's not really that difficult to do . just be thorough, label everything you take apart with masking tape & a marker-even if all you do it put a piece of tape on each side of the plug, and put the same letter (A/A, B/B, C/C, etc, etc.) on each part of the plug. it just has to make sense to you when you put it all back in.

just make sure you take your time, search the forum well (it's all on here. somewhere) and take pic's as you go along. like the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words!

GL.
