95 coolent temperature sensor location

Default 95 coolent temperature sensor location

hello i have a 1995 blazer with v6 vortec cpi, and i can not find the temperature sensor location anywhere i bought it already just dont know where it is at. i read that there are two one is the switch for the gauge and one is for the computer i got the one for computer so if anyone knows where is located whould greatly appreciate your help.

I believe that you could have two sensors. One for the gauge and one for the PCM/ECU depending on the configuration.

The one for the PCM/ECU should be right near where the upper radiator hose meets the block at the thermostat housing.

The one for the gauges may be in the side of the cylinder head.

ETC for the gauge is on the drivers side head, between the middle and rear spark plugs. youll find two sensors there, the top one is the coolant temp, the lower one is a knock sensor.

Ok found it thx for help. What's the easiest way to take that out? Should I just take the water pump house off and get a extension and ratchet or do I need to take the ac bracket off?
