Default 96 4x4 oil cooler lines

My cooler lines are leaking (apprears to be a common enough problem). I have them unbolted, but now they wont come out. They keep hanging up on the block and the (??transfer case??)
I have also noticed that my fan has worn off the bottom of the shroud and am now wondering if the motor I had put in 3 years ago was installed wrong or if the motor mounts are bad.
Please share with me the secret for getting this blasted lines out!!! Do I need to lift the motor?
Thanks in advance!

Default RE: 96 4x4 oil cooler lines

I had to lift the motor slightly to get the lines out of my old '00 Bravada. They kept on getting wedged between the block and the front diff. Didn't pull the motor mounts, but just lifted it a bit. While you're doing that, check the mounts. If you can move it a lot, chances are the mounts are shot or incorrect. Still, bad mounts shouldn't allow the fan to interfere with the fan shroud...
