I feel funny saying this cause you seem like a good s%@& but....would you stand in the middle of the highway? Why run it sooo low on gas? If your sender is funky, fill up, clear your trip and get a gas re-fill at around 180-200 miles when you can(one 1/2 ish). If you didn't know it this will prolong the life of your fuel pump aside from that fact less condensation can form in the tank resulting in a possible gas line freeze up. Not sure how cold it gets in Sheboygan but I wouldn't want to risk it. After a couple of tank fulls you'll be able to gauge where certain levals of fuel relate to your gauge. Or....what I was going to say is you could replace the tank sending unit but....I know, I know you did that already plus an Airtex pump/module. Now you got me thinking...wonder if that Airtex isn't regulated quite right/same as an ACDelco-based on what you're saying-if you've had this awhile, must be that it reads different than b-4 because of the stall issue but anywho that is easily correctable if.....I think you get it! Good luck and I'm glad the power seat is now working-you probably need a lumbar assembly in the other seat-just tell your passengers that there is no lumbar! Jerry[&o]

Jerry I did not intentionally run it that low on the Pontiac I just got in the car and went to work, My folks had the car that morning, ya it was one hell of a surprise to see needle on empty.. but it kept going to the gas station. Thank GOD !.. I guess maybe the ac delco would have been the better pump choice but I was in a money crunch, I will watch the gauge and remember this truck 1/4 means get gas now who knows when I pull the pump back out to put that darn O-Ring on it ( I really knew better then not to put in on in the first place) I will just place an ac delco in instead maybe the sending unit will be more accurate. Oh well new vehicle for me means getting to know it Positives and negatives ))
