the scan tool said all of the sensors where bad, so i'm thinking the module is dead. yes i have good brake pressure.

Testing the sensors will tell you whether it's a bad module or not. The sensors should read >250mV-AC when you spin the wheel with a multimeter set to read AC voltage probing the pins in the connector to the speed sensor.

i just changed out my rear brake line on my 97 blazer and can not get the ABS to bleed the rear brakes but will bleed the front brakes. I tookjoff the brake lines off the abs and no fluid will come out the line for the rear brakes. the brake light is on but not the abs light. what is going on, can the portioning valve be moved or do i have to replace the whole abs unit?

Read this thread:
https://blazerforum.com/forum/2nd-ge...r-w-abs-64701/
I just disconnected the battery for about 1/2 hour to reset the internal proportioning valve as suggested in one thread - we'll see how that goes today.
That may help

Hey guys I own a 2001 blazer and I'm having a few problems with it and was wondering if talk can help.

1st: my gas meter is like really weird it doesn't function right does anyone know whY could it be?

2nd: my windshield wiped fluid is not working as well WT could it be?

3rd: does anyone suggest what I could do to make my blazer run smooth like any suggestions I would apreciate it.

So.. check if I got this straight. Your problems have nothing to do with ABS.. and YET..

i decided not to check my ABS sensors yet because it's too crappy outside. but the pattern i've picked up is... when i actually need my ABS, like when there is snow or ice on the road, It works. and when the roads are dry the light comes on. so i'm thinking the 31" tires are probably to blame. we'll see what happens when i get some 33's under it!!

Pettyfog, thank you very much for your advice! I disconnected my battery and that worked for reseting the proportioning valve and the brakes bleed perfectly. Thanks again.
