Default Are '99 blazer interiors interchangeable with '02s?

I have a '02 blazer that needs some interior work done. Mainly a driver side door panel and a defrost vent that is near the windshield. A friend of mine as a '99 blazer that he said I could pick through for parts if needed. I've looked up pictures of the two and they seem pretty identical. Just wanted some extra advice. Thanks

Hi Brandon welcome to the forum. I'm not an expert but since I have a 99 LS and a friend has an 02 base (both 2 dr), the difference I noticed is the interior panels in the 02 seem to be a slightly more padded or softer plastic than my 99 - I'm thinking GM took notice of the complaints about the acres of cheap easily-broken plastic starting in '98. The colors should be the same
(charcoal, grey, tan) and except for elec.vs manual windows, power locks & mirrors or not (LS vs base) I didnt see any differences - the stuff should interchange. Hope this
helps ... cheers!

Marco
